Lillian Carter was born in 1922 in Savannah, Georgia. She served as a nurse during World War II and continued a lifelong career in healthcare. A mother of four and a pillar in her church, Lillian was admired for her strength, humility, and endless love for her community. Even in her final years, she found joy in reading, baking for neighbors, and singing hymns with her choir.
